Efficacy + Convenience in One System

The iDerma® Youth Restoring Masque™ is the most advanced full-coverage facial product. Our low-level light therapy (LLLT) will improve your overall complexion by reducing the appearance of uneven skin tones, shrinking enlarged pores for skin that looks fresh and youthful.

Fewer Wrinkles

Unlike low quality red light therapy treatments, the iDerma® stimulates fibroblast to accelerate collagen synthesis, which minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.

Smaller Pores

Whether your enlarged pores are from acne or genetics, the strength and quality of our Low Level Lights will reach the Hypodermis of your skin to shrink your pores.

Lighter Sunspots

Over time, exposure to the sun can cause sunspots to appear. The iDerma® penetrates deep into your skin to reverse the effects of sun damage and hydrate your skin

How Does Low Level

Light Therapy Work?

Various wavelengths and intensities of light have been shown to stimulate and encourage cellular productivity. LED or Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) is a way to deliver those wavelengths to the skin to reap their benefits.

Red and infrared are the most common types of LLLT used to help reverse the visible signs of aging. Light is radiated onto the surface of the skin where it's absorbed and activates fibroblast cells, making skin more efficient at what it's meant to do: improve elasticity and repair or replace damaged cells to bring it to a healthier, more youthful-looking state.

Since LLLT simply uses nonthermal light to stimulate rather than destroy, it's far gentler on the skin than more invasive laser laser treatments which require licensed professionals in a clinical setting to safely provide.

Intrinsic Factors OF Skin Aging

Are You Stressed Out?

In addition to the extrinsic factors, changes in the body, namely hormones and stress, impact skin appearance as one gets older.

Cells in younger skin take 28 days to remodel, but as you age, the turnover time increases and the body takes longer to regenerate. Over time, the collagen in your skin slowly breaks down, and the body is not able to keep up the pace of remodeling, causing the skin to become less elastic. As a result, the skin begins to sag, causing wrinkles to appear on the face and body.

EXtrinsic Factors OF Skin Aging

Getting Too Much Sun?

As people age, extended exposure to environmental factors such as sunlight and cold weather damages the cellular structure of human skin. In addition, pollution in the atmosphere creates free radicals that can penetrate the skin’s surface, leading to even more damaging effects.

These are extrinsic factors that produce visible signs of aging, including fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots, uneven skin tone, and laxity.

Narrow and Wide-Angled Red and Infrared LED's

Red light wavelengths focus on the surface of the skin, while the greater number of iderma’s lights are infrared which affect the cells on a deeper level. iderma’s patented Derma-Pulse Technology™ uses both for optimal results. Combining this with narrow AND wide-angle LEDs allows full face coverage while still focusing each treatment on areas of the face where skin issues are most prevalent.

Where can I find LLLT research?

The research and study of Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) is extensive. For instance ,scientists at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have completed extensive research showing the many benefits of using Low-level Light Therapy (LLLT)and made many of their findings available on their website.

In addition, multiple clinical studies have been published about the positive effects of LLLT on skin by physician members of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery’s (ASLMS). You can find links to many of these and related information from scientists and dermatologists on these organizations’ websites.

Augusta Falletta is the senior beauty editor from Buzzfeed Top Knot and was featured on Today during the consumer electronics show. With the hosts, she discusses the benefits of low-level light therapy treatment. The light works to increase collagen, she says, and is therefore an effective collagen product. Augusta notes that users should consistently use the iderma® light-therapy device to see results. She also notes that one LED light therapy benefit of the iderma® in particular is that it lasts up to 10 years.

Forbes Magazine

Forbes featured an article that referenced the iderma® and what it can do for your aging skin. Reporter Meggen Taylor of Forbes describes our LED beauty light as “a hands-free facial mask that utilizes a combination of 142 red (660nm) and infrared LEDs (940 nm) in both narrow and wide angle lenses that reduce fine lines, wrinkles, minimize pores, improve texture and boost overall skin health.”

Jennifer Jolly from Techish visited KTVU to talk about the iderma® LED light treatment. She discusses that it is used to boost collagen, which can treat acne scars, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, and even pore size. She notes that the masque will shut off automatically once users of the LED beauty light have reached their time limit.

Ezvid Wiki

Ezvid Wiki spent 25 hours on research, videography, and editing to select the 10 best light-therapy masks out there. The iderma® light-therapy device came in the top five, and Ezvid Wiki’s review recommends it as a cosmetic device that will primarily attack the effects of aging on the skin. It notes that the infrared and red light mask does not sit directly on the user’s face, is held with a cushioned headpiece, and is a low-level therapy method.

Dr. Frank saved the best skin care product for aging skin for last: the iderma®. He mentions that our professional facial product can help improve wrinkles, acne, and many other common skin issues. Good skin care isn’t hard — it takes washing your face daily and using products that are good for your skin. As we age, however, healthy skin care takes a bit more work.
